In July of 1993, I “accidentally” got a summer job in a stone shop and 5 years later I went into business for myself…fabricating and installing granite counters. I rode the boom of the mid-2000s and the crash and depression of 2008-2012. We survived, but barely, and by 2013 we were back on track and growing the business.
In 2016 I hired my first GM and stepped away from the company for almost 3 years. Unfortunately, my return to running the stone shop was not what I had wanted or imagined. The state of our business was so dire in the Fall of 2018 that I wasn’t sure we’d survive. It was time to return to the principles that we had drifted away from in the hopes that we could turn things around… thankfully we did.
During this journey, I’ve seen the highs and lows of owning a stone shop and made nearly every mistake a stone shop owner can make. But I’ve also had the opportunity to see what works and to identify on multiple occasions what is absolutely necessary to build and maintain a successful business.
Now I have the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the last 25 years with stone shop owners like you.
I want to help you discover the amazing potential you posses as the leader of your company so you achieve the success you know you’re capable of!
If that is what you want, then I invite you to review the two ways that we can work together below and I invite you to connect with me via email with any questions you might have.
